Lived experience turned into raw, visceral storytelling
on paper & canvas
I paint what I feel, not what I see. My abstract work is immediate, physical, and deeply human—mixing acrylic, ink, oil, collage, and pastels to capture emotion in its rawest form. It’s movement, intensity, and intimacy all at once. āā

ANNICA Fine Art Print Series Bundle
ANNICA is about impermanence — the truth that nothing stays. These pieces hold that tension between what’s here and what’s slipping away.ā
Each painting is a reminder: everything changes.
Nothing is fixed.
And there’s beauty in that.

āAbout the artist
Hi! I'm Sean.
ā
An artist, storyteller, and sober guy in Los Angeles. ā
āā
I've mostly been an actor and a writer, however, painting grew out of my love for art and years working as a Gallery Director in Santa Monica, CA.
ā
My work is about truth, expression, and feeling everything fully. I create not to depict, but to reveal—to unearth what lies beneath the surface.
ā
I’ve lived many lives. I grew up a gay Mormon in Virginia, broke free, lost myself in addiction, worked as a federal informant, and somehow found my way back. Now, nearly two decades sober, I live and work as a successful actor in Los Angeles with my husband and our two Boston Terriers, Ludo and Gus Gus. Every piece of art I create is a reflection of that journey—of survival, transformation, and the search for something bigger than myself.
ā
My work is about pulling something out of the darkness and giving it form—whether that’s through brushstrokes, performance, or words. It’s intimate, unfiltered, and impossible to ignore.

Why I Createā
I create because I have to.
Because it’s the only way I know how to process the world.
Because when I paint, write, or act, I feel alive.
If my work can make someone else feel something—seen, understood, less alone—then I’ve done what I came here to do.
